Best Friends Forever!

Yesterday was a momentous day! I left Keely for six and a half hours to work! I went back to Okatie Elementary to interpret for the day because they were short on interpreters. It was so funny because I woke up so early a nervous wreck! I knew Keely was in good hands with Karissa. I knew it would be fun to see all the students I use to work with. But I just didn't know how "Mommy" would handle being away from "baby." (As you can see from the pictures, Keely did just fine without me.) It was a great day. Indeed it was good to see everyone. And it was a great reminder of how blessed I am to be able to stay home with Keely. It was also encouraging to know we have such wonderful friends who are willing to help out by keeping our child! Karissa and I are convinced Corrine and Keely will be best friends. They always have such a good time together. Corrine is so sweet to Keely, giving her toys, making sure she has whatever she needs. And Keely loves watching Corrine. Corrine even recognizes our house when they walk past pointing saying "Keke." I can't wait until Keely starts talking and they have little conversations with each other!

We leave for our trip to Ohio on Thursday. We are excited about meeting Uncle Brent, Aunt Robbie and gang as well as the rest of the relatives in Ohio. We'll be sure to take lots of pictures so we can put them on here when we return. If you don't hear from us in a while, you'll know why!
