A Weekend Away

We had a great weekend this past weekend. Papa and Yaya were in Charleston for a medical conference so we crashed the romantic getaway and stole some time with them. We met them for supper and then spent the night in the hotel room with them. It was a great experience (minus the party across the hall at 2:30 AM)!
There were four in the bed and the little one said....Some of my fondest memories are crowding in my parents' bed to read, watch movies, steal a nap, or just hang out. This was just another sweet moment to add to the memory.

This was Keely playing "Ring around the Rosies" and when we said all fall down she would jump into Papa's arms. He would flip her. She loved it! It made up for him not having his truck.

On Saturday, we went to Joel and Jana's to watch the Clemson game (if you can even call it that) on their new tv. I love how Doug has now talked two of his family members into nice, new panel tv's but doesn't own one himself! It just gives us more reason to make quick trips to visit family. We came home extremely tired, but knowing it was worth it to have the time with family.

Matthew actually convinced Keely that it was okay to get dirty in the sand. We couldn't believe she would actually play in it. At first she did the typical "eeewwwww" but then Matthew told her it was okay because he was dirty. She then joined right in. Noticed she stayed on the outside. My little priss!
