Growing Like a Weed

It seems like just yesterday Keely was starting to coo and show some personality and now Macey is. They are both growing so much. Doug officially started his school year back this past week with inservice days all week so Keely, Macey and I settled into our own routine. Monday morning both girls slept in until almost 8 am!! Talk about spoiled. Then Keely woke up and instantly needed to know where "Baby" was. I told her she was still sleeping, so of course her response was to go check on her. To my surprise, I walk into Macey's room and find Keely in the bed with Macey. She had to make sure Macey was ok, then proceeded to give her hugs and kisses. It has now become a morning ritual. I just have to make sure and keep Macey's door closed until I am ready for her to get up.

It was too hot all week for Macey to go out so we stayed cooped up inside mostly. However, one day while Macey was napping we went out to water the flowers. Keely watered herself and the entire yard and anyone else who got in her way. Joan (Jojo) next door was walking her dog, and Keely got in on that action too! She acts so grown up sometimes!! The girls definitely keep me busy and on my toes at all times, but I wouldn't trade a moment of it!
