These are pictures from our cookout a couple of weeks ago. It was our couple friends from the Christian Academy. The Bealls have moved to North Carolina and were back in town visiting. It was fun to have all our children together. It was the first time we met Josiah.

Well, Doug is officially done working now for the next several weeks in preparation for arrival of baby #2! Keely is loving life with Daddy around. And I am completely spoiled to have the extra help again. In anticipation of Doug's vacation, my doctor decided to make our weekend start off with a bang. I went for my weekly check up and ended up in the hospital for a couple of hours. Just precautionary to make sure nothing was happening. The truth is the baby is in position, I have started dialating and am having contractions regularly. But not really progressing at this point. So it could be another couple of days/week or I could go at any point. I just like keeping the family on their toes!

Keely is sleeping in her big girl bed now so the nursery is ready for the baby. And Keely has adjusted quite well (other than waking up before 7 AM). She stays in the bed until we come and get her. Doesn't she look so big in her bed? Doug and I are having a hard time imagining having an itty bitty one again but after last night I am so excited about the arrival of the new child. I am most excited about seeing how Keely does with the him/her. And of course praise God everyday for the blessing of parenthood!
