Finally...a New Post!!
We're back and hopefully here to stay! So much has happened since the last blog. Obviously, since 6 months have passed. In an effort to save money, we went back to slow dial up internet service. And the connection is not strong enough for me to use blogger. But because so many people requested it, my friend Sarah (she being one that missed it terribly) has offered to let me come to her house weekly to update the blog. The best part is Keely gets to play with her dog while I do it! Keely loves Macallen. Actually, she loves dogs in general.
Thank you so much Sarah! Just in time, as we are now only 9 weeks away from the expected arrival of baby #2!
This is our latest family portrait. Ms. Joanie took it on Easter. Easter wasn't too exciting this year. Keely was sick with a high fever so she and I stayed home. And it also kept us from traveling to be with family. But God has blessed us with great neighbors. Ms. Joanie, who has become like family to us, had us over for Easter dinner. We then had our own little Easter egg hunt in our backyard.

Gramps and Nan gave Keely the perfect gift on their last visit to town. She got a baby doll and stroller. The doll came with a passy and bottle. Keely loves feeding her baby and taking her baby on walks. It is great practice for soon to be big sis! We have been trying to help her
understand what is happening. We've been reading books to her about being a big sis and letting her feel the baby in Mama's tummy. However, whenever we talk about Mama's baby, she brings me her doll so I am not sure how much she is understanding.
Other things Keely has come to love: the outdoors and her Bible! Once you take her outside, it is difficult to get her back in. She is somewhat of a priss when it comes to getting dirty, but not when it
comes to getting wet. Watering flowers has become difficult because as you see, she ends up watering herself! She loves drinking the water.
She constantly changes what her favorite book is, but one thing remains the same. She love her Bible. And she knows it must be very special because she carries it around and even says "Bible." You are never too young to start good habits. I think after seeing Mama and Daddy take time to read the Bible each day, she tries to do the same by taking her Bible to a quiet corner to sit and "read." Then she will tote it around. Yesterday she even took it to church with her! It is amazing what she is picking up! I just pray she will continue to be so devoted to our Lord!
