Pulling Ahead

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, and I am sure it will be another while seeing as Keely and I will be leaving Sunday to head up for the prewedding week followed by the much anticipated Unlce Steven and Aunt Kelli wedding!

We went for Keely's nine month check up this week. She is still only in the tenth percentile but healthy. She still isn't crawling yet. But she does try to. And she is starting to pull up on things now also. She loves to stand. She can't stand on her own but sometime she thinks she can and she'll let go just to go falling. It doesn't stop her. She'll tug and pull until she's back on her feet.

Last weekend Doug was sick in bed all weekend. We loved having Daddy home all day but Keely had the hardest time why he was home and not playing with her. Of course, he couldn't ignore her completely and so nice she is dealing with a stuffy nose. Nothing like sharing your cold with the family. Here's the picture of Keely as happy as can be to have some quality time with her Daddy.

This is a picture from when our two neighbor girls stopped by one afternoon and played with Keely. She was in heaven! She thought it was great to have free entertainment. They brought her toys to play with and made silly faces. The more Keely laughed the more they did. It was so funny. Keely was laughing so hard and they thought it was so fun to see what else they could do to make her laugh even more. I told them they were welcome to stop by anytime..especially around dinner time when I am trying to cook and fix plates and she needs something to divert her attention!
