Girls Day Out!

This week has panned out to be everything I could ask for in a vacation. Yesterday was Casey's half day so Keely and I enjoyed her presence all afternoon and evening. We played in the sprinkler while watering the flowers, then we enjoyed smelling all of Yaya's pretty flowers. It was an exhausting afternoon followed with another exciting evening. Yaya had her monthly dinner out with the birthday buddies so Keely, Casey, and I crashed it. It was great seeing all of them since it had been a while. Keely had never even met most of them. Casey played the proud aunt all night meaning that once again, I was off duty. Then we stopped by Brusters for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our cones...Keely had her very own!

Keely hasn't gotten her ride in Papa's truck yet, but we watch him everytime he leaves. And yesterday we even snuck in it for a little bit when he wasn't looking. Once he saw the picture, he smiled and knew he would have to give her a ride soon. I think a trip up the road to get ice cream while at the lake will make the perfect outing!

Today we went to Kait's house and went swimming! It was Keely's first trip in pool this season. It took a minute for her to warm up to the idea of getting in the pool, but once she was in, she didn't want to get out! She was splashing, throwing the ball, and even jumping in off the side with some help! Thank you so much to the Parkers for their hospitality! We had a great afternoon. And it left Keely so tired, she went straight to bed when we got back for a nice, long afternoon nap! We head to the lake tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to get lots of pics to continue to vacation updates!
