Obviously, both girls are constantly learning and doing new things. But today Macey had a major break through. She has been close to crawling for a couple of weeks now. This morning she crawled the length of the coffee table before falling. (Of course when I shared this one of my students, she informed me Macey was crawling "all over the place" when she babysat.) You can see an action shot below. It is only a matter of time before she is completely mobile. As exciting as it is, whoo, a little bit more tiresome trying to make sure she isn't getting anything she's not supposed to.

However, that wasn't her only achievement! While eating breakfast, she wanted more food, so Keely looked at her and said,"Macey more" while signing it. Immediately, Macey signed it! (I've been working on this for weeks, next time, I'll just recruit Keely for help.) Keely and I both got such a kick, we started clapping. So Macey joined in and started clapping too! It was a very exciting breakfast.

Here's a glimpse of her, who knows what she has in her mouth. Hopefully, a toy. The other night at bath time, Doug noticed her chewing on something and pulled out what appeared to be part of a toothpick. We aren't sure where it came from or how she got it. Neither one of us saw her put it in her mouth. A little scary but thank goodness she was ok. She's like a vacuum cleaner. She'll find the smallest fuzz on the carpet, and have it in her mouth before you get there.
This is Keely and Macey learning to "back, back" at Yaya's house. Keely thought it was so much fun! She did it over and over until she got a rug burn on her belly. It wore her out too! Macey just wanted to do whatever Keely was, so she didn't really know what she was doing, but it didn't matter because she was doing it with her sis!
