Uncle Kenneth

We are quite spoiled for February and March. Kent is Doug's student teacher and thus living down here! Doug gets spoiled because he has a lot more time at school! We get spoiled because we get to see him almost every afternoon and have free entertainment for the girls! I think he is enjoying his time too. His goal is to replace Casey and Walker as Keely and Macey's favorite. We try to take advantage of every beautiful day. We've been to the beach three times in the past week!

Keely takes a little time each time to warm up to the sand. But it gets shorter and shorter each time. She loves looking for shells. But still insists to get wiped off every time she gets sand on her. Macey doesn't seem to have any qualms with the sand. She plays and even eats it. Keely saw Macey with sand all over her hands and legs and replied, "EEEWWWW, Mommy, Macey dirty, sand! Wipe it! Wipe it!" It was quite a scene. We were hoping it would convince Keely to play in it too. Not so much. Here is a nice swing on the porch after dinner. Again, more time to hang out when there is free entertainment for the girls while I get dinner cooked and cleaned up! Keely loves her playmate.I love snuggling and I try to get Keely to "Snuggle Mommy!" She loves teasing me so when other people are around she will snuggle with them and then call me to come see. This afternoon, Kent got her up from her nap and then they came out and "Snuggle Kent, Couch!" She now refers to him as "Uncle Kenneth" in honor of Dylan being here this weekend. But at least she is learning to put her titles in front of her names!
