Fall Festival Fun!

Our family celebrates Oct 31 by remembering the great Reformers who died to stand up for the truth of the gospel (Reformation Day)! This year we were in Columbia and went to the Fall Festival at Burk&Ashley and Tom&Bernadette's church. Aunt Sherri and Karli met us there so we could take pictures of the girls together. This is Sherri with her butterfly and me with my ladybugs.
We had a great time! Keely loved dressing up and thought Macey was "AAhhhh" in her outfit. She just wanted to keep kissing Macey while she was dressed up. And she would giggle. It was funny. I think Keely didn't realize she was dressed up too!

Aunt Casey dressed up for work and got the idea of being a ladybug from Keely. She was worried her patients wouldn't know what she was until she walked into the kitchen and Keely said "adyug!" She met us at the Fall Festival and we joined the parade of costumes.
After the Fall Festival, we visited Uncle Wally, aka Tater, at work for some ice cream! Keely still asks for "Tater, ice cream." She ordered her own cone of strawberry (like mother, like daughter) and he put a smiley face on it with sprinkles. She ate almost the whole thing by herself.
This is what happens when an almost 2 year old eats a cone! She was dancing and laughing all around. Then she would run up to the window where Walker was working and yell at him. He was having a hard time keeping a straight face taking care of customers. We just laughed in the background because Keely was having so much fun! We came home with a bunch of candy but left it for the aunts and uncles to enjoy at Papa and Yaya's.

Doug and I learned an important lesson this weekend...never spend a week at the grandparents right before time change. The girls were used to waking up at 6, so Sunday morning it was 5!!! We got ripped off of our extra hour of sleep and actually LOST an hour instead!!
