Taking Some Down Time

Doug has had a rough week of trying to fight some upper respiratory thing. I actually made him go to the doctor on Friday because I was sick of hearing him complain. Tim gave him some meds and we think he is finally over coming it. But we used his illness as an excuse to be lazy all weekend. Doug's parents were in town (which means all of us were spoiled)! We stayed out at their condo and enjoyed some r&r. The weather turned out beautiful after two days of much needed rain. We enjoyed several strolls to the beach (as seen in the first photo). And upon returning home last night, we all went to bed early and (the girls and I) slept in late this morning! The perfect ending to a great weekend.

We took Keely to the Harbor Town Park Saturday morning. She would have stayed all day! We went on the swings, slides, seesaws, and Daddy had this great idea of trying to ride the tire swing! We had everyone there laughing at us but it made a cute photo.

Everyone knows I love to snuggle! Keely is getting to the point where she won't snuggle anymore so I decided it's time to start training Macey. It was a great bonding moment.
