A New Do

Keely has some exciting news to share! She got her very first haircut/stlye! And it is adorable. I have been thinking about doing it for awhile and as you can see in this picture, it was starting to get straggly. There is a friend of mine (her son goes to Doug's school) who cuts her and I knew I could trust her to do a good job. She was great. She made Keely feel at ease, played with her, and even worked with Keely squirming. Keely did very well. At one point she wanted to turn to see what she was doing, but other than that she sat in my lap and watched in the mirror.

Here is a picture of her in progress. Keely thought she it was special to wear this "pink dress." And was just trying to figure out what was happening. When she was done, she put her hand on her hair and told me "Oooo."
Below are pictures of the final do. She seems to like it and the friends we've shown love it. I say, if she didn't look like Aunt Casey before, she sure does now!
