Up, Up, and Away

Do you think Keely likes her swing very much?!

We are so thankful for living in the south with it's beautiful, winter weather! I know a lot of people complain that is doens't get cold enough. But we don't miss the cold one bit! Especially now that we have our swing set and Keely wants to spend every waking moment outside on it. I love being outside. Macey loves her swing we've added. And so we take several trips outdoors each day. Only in the south can

you get a swing set for Christmas and actually be able to enjoy it as much as we have!This is Keely's version of pat-a-cake. We play it every night before baths while we are getting undressed. Instead of using their hands, we use Keely and Macey's feet to play. She actually came up with it one day when I was changing Macey. Macey started crying so Keely was trying to play with her to keep her happy. She picked up her feet and started doing pat-a-cake. Well, Keely got tickled by it and started laughing, so then I started laughing. So Macey joined in the laughter and forgot she was crying! Ever since, the game has become a regular.This is our annual family Ohio State picture. We started it the January Keely was born. The night of their bowl game, we dress in our OSU garb and take a quick picture. You can tell it is before the game started because we are smiling. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to smile about after the first quarter. I just keep saying at least they made it as far as they did. And of course, there is always next year!
