The Langhals Family

"Children are a gift of the Lord!"

I wrote so much last time that I don't feel like there is anything new to write about. But we did finally upload some pictures from the summer so I thought I would post as many of them as I could to highlight some of our favorite events. Here are the kids in the moving truck with Daddy. It was parked in our driveway but I needed to move a car out of his way and this was the safest place for them. They loved it, and thought they were driving it with him.
Yay! Everything is in the house! Ok, really only the furniture was on the truck. Most of the boxes were in a friends' garage and came a couple of days later. The important thing is we are all moved in now.
Whenever I have to run to the outlets, the kids love to play on all these riding toys. I think I have only let them put money in them one time. Usually, they want to climb on all of them so they just move from one to another.
This is a perfect picture of Kres. He is always getting into something. This particular day he kept climbing up on this table. He pulled it over on him one time and fell off of it another time. I kept telling him no but as soon as I turned around he was right back on top of it again. It's like getting hurt is just one more reason to do it again so he can "conquer it."

Because we spent 6 weeks between houses, we had extra time with extended family. Here is the girls playing with their cousin, Karli at her house. She graciously hosted us for a day of fun a couple of times to help us get a change of scenery while in Columbia.
I love this picture. It is the three Kreswells. Kres is a family name. My mother's grandfather was Kreswell. And my Uncle Bill is a Kreswell. My brother Kres (who is now in heaven) was named after those two men. My son, Kres is named after my brother. This is picture is my Uncle Bill and my cousin Ray Kreswell with my Kres.
Any of you who are a Neely or know the Neelys will recognize this family tradition. We sing "Going to the Chapel" to the bride and groom at every family shower. In this picture, the greatgrands got involved. It was neat to have my girls up there with me carrying on the tradition. This pretty much summarizes our life everyday right now. We LOVE our new pool and we LOVE to swim. Usually we spend atleast two hours daily at the pool before naps. Occasionally, we will even go back after naps with Daddy. The past two weeks, the crazy end of the summer isolated storms have messed up our routine because we have to try to dodge the thunder. A couple of times, we have managed ok. But there have been times we've gotten in the pool and five minutes later we are running for cover. Then there is the girls' favorite, it's pouring down rain, we just got here but we're all in our swimsuits anyway so you can run and play on the playground while we wait and see if it is going to pass (only if there is no thunder/lightning of course).
