One Small Step for Her, One Huge Step for Us!

We just got back from a wonderful week at Lake Keowee with the Suits Family. The weather was extremely HOT, but it made the lake feel refreshing (instead of the usual frigid water temperature). Macey chose to start walking while we were there! I told Yaya I wanted her to get her doing it by the end of the week. (I was afraid if she didn't do it now, she would do it while I was out of town and I wanted to see it.) She worked with her a little each day (using grapes as the prize) and sure enough about half way through the week, she was walking. She still crawls when she wants get somewhere fast, but she definitely prefers her feet. This video is a good one of her walking to me. Sorry the lighting is bad. But atleast you can share in our excitement!! When I have more time, I'll share more pictures and stories from our great week!
