The Langhals Family: Catching up on Pictures

My favorite part of blogs is pictures. I told Doug I do the blog so family and friends can keep up with what is going on in our life. But more than that, I do the blog as a journal of memories for our family. Thus, having pictures from each stage is VITAL!! Therefore, I am dedicating this blog to posting pics from the last 3 months I have missed.

Here is the favorite Christmas present for the boys this year. It has already provided hours of entertainment for the boys but occasionally the girls get in on the pirate action as well. I am glad it has been a hit because it took Doug and I working together on it over an hour to assemble the thing!

For Keely's birthday this year, she decided she would rather go to Station 300 (bowling/arcade) instead of having a friend party. So the whole family went bowling together. We have never had so much fun together (except maybe in Disney) and we had everyone there (all 5 of them over the age of 60) laughing so hard they were crying. All the children insisted on rolling the balls themselves so it was the longest round ever. Some of the bowls nearly stopped on the lane before getting to the end. But no one gave up and it was quite the experience! On her real birthday, I made Keely cupcakes (it's a tradition). So some of her high school buddies came over and decorated them for her. She got to judge and taste each of them...her version of Cupcake Wars.

Here is the day we got our all clear from the bug man on our bed bug infestation. We got home at nap time and the mattresses had been treated and no beds were made. The kids were so worn out, I set up camp in my closet away from the fumes and away they slept.
