Christmas Highlights

Christmas has come and gone again. Keely was at the age where she actually understood what was going on and looked forward to all of it. Of course with her birthday and Christmas, she opened presents for seven days. She now asks when she can open more presents. Poor girl has to wait another whole year! But we have put some away so she at least gets some "surprises" and "new toys" through out the year.
Once again it was wonderful to be with family. It was also wonderful to have some quiet time alone. Between the college kids being around and occupying the girls for me and my mom taking the girls for 4 days, I feel completely on top of things. I had lots of rest and relaxation. I had a fun day trip to Jacksonville with Doug. And I have completely reorganized my entire house!! The girls room is now ready for them to move in together (even though we haven't finished decorating it).

Keely is walking the plank while playing pirates with Alison. Her bed is now a boat. Oh the fun times she had while Ali Kate was around. We miss her already and she just left Sunday!!Another of Keely's favorite "big" friends gave her a present. Then she took took the wrapping paper and wrapped Keely up to give Daddy as a present. Keely LOVED it! She wanted to do this the rest of Christmas with the wrapping paper (thanks, Abby)!!The annual contest to see who "gets" to display the beautiful chicken head bowl in their house all year. And as seen, Yaya was the big "winner." Doesn't she look so excited! For some reason, when it was her turn to fry an egg, it wouldn't crack??? It was hard boiled. Should have chosen a different egg! This was Day 2 of Christmas present opening. It was the Suits Family Christmas at Papa and Yaya's. The girls each got a box FILLED with presents. And of course they loved all of them!If it looks like chaos, that's because it IS! But it is so much fun! After all the kids pass out their presents and they are opened. Papa and Yaya gives theirs to everyone and we open them at the same time. It is really fun. By the time we finish, it takes us another 30 minutes just to see what everyone else got!

Twas the night before Christmas, the girls were waiting for Santa. We read a Christmas story and put them to bed.

Santa brought the girls a doll set with everything a little girl could dream of for her nursery. The girls are adorable to watch as they take care of their dolls. And they are even getting better about sharing the different items.

As you can see, it was a fun, very blessed Christmas. I hope yours was as wonderful as ours was!
