Last night our church had their first annual fall festival. Doug and I have decided to forgoe celebrating Halloween and instead stick to celebrating Reformation Day. So church fall festivals are our excuse to dress up and have fun. Our response at the end of the evening was they way out did themselves for a first time event because it was so well run and had so many different events including: a cake walk (which Keely and Corinne won so we came home with half of a chocolate cake), a chili cook off, toddler jump and rides, plus your typical games/candy.

Keely and Macey wore their matching ladybug outfits for the second year. They still fit and honestly they are cuter than most other costumes I have seen. They both were so excited about wearing them and neither of them had qualms about stuff on their heads!

Here's Macey and our friend Whitley who came out for the fun. She was dressed as a flower. We had to take a picture of the two good friends who were so excited to see each other. Whitley just wasn't as excited about her costume as Macey. But she was adorable!!

Let the games begin, the ring toss! Macey had so much fun throwing the rings, once she threw them all, she got her piece of candy and threw it in as well! Keely on the other hand played one game and was ready to jump some more. Not even the bribe of candy could convince her the games were as much fun as jumping.

This was the can crash game. The couple running it told Keely to take the ball and try to knock down the cans. So Keely walked straight up to them and used the ball to knock them over. Isn't it wonderful when a 2 year old outsmarts the adults. We then informed her, that you are supposed to
throw the ball to try to knock them over. We need some more front yard football practice because our throwing isn't too accurate yet.

Here's Macey going fishing for a surprise. She was so confused when the rod starting tugging.

Getting a high five and a piece of candy after kicking the ball (not quite) into the goal but a decent kick for her age! Nothing like having friends to walk around with. I love when Corinne is around because she and Keely love holding hands, and she is gentle enough that Macey will hold onto her too (Keely is still working on that). It makes my life easier to keep up with all of them and it makes for some lasting photo memories.
