Karin Came to Town!

I am sorry I have not been more diligent in updating the blog this summer. The truth is, I have been LAZY!! We have had a blast enjoying having Daddy around more and doing fun "things." However, I have been terrible at taking pictures to document all of our fond memories...and let's be honest, those of you who check this regularly really only want to see the pictures of the girls.

The good news is, my good friend Karin came to town which means PHOTO SHOOT!! So here are some of my favorites from what she took. I hope you enjoy!Macey was enjoying having her picture taken. She is just getting to the point where she doesn't mind the camera so I was thrilled to have a couple of good ones of her. I still can't believe we didn't make the contest.

Yes, her eyes really are that blue. I definitely can't take credit for that aspect of her look.

I am not sure what she is doing but I am going to say she was praying. That is how she folds her hands when she prays afterall.

Doug is now officially back to school. His inservice was last week and the students return this week. That means summer is officially over for me too. So I won't be as lazy, and hopefully with the girls entertaining me, I will be better at taking pictures of all the moments they have me laughing! Like for instance when they make their "silly faces" (as demonstrated below). I hope your summer has been as blessed as ours!
