Ham & Cheese Please

My daughters have officially got cheesy smiles and acting like hams down! This morning while trying to get them both dressed, the pajamas came off and they went off! For the next 10 minutes they would run up to me and act like they were back. Just as I went to put a shirt on, off they would run again. Keely of course was the instigator but Macey was right behind her. And they were both laughing histarically making me laugh...which in turn made the whole episode last even longer. It's ok, we had no where to be and it's fun to find joy in the simple things of life. Life lessons from the kiddos, just another parenting blessing!

All the proof you need regarding the cheese I was speaking of! I was so impressed because we had a picture taken for the church directory last week and the photographer did a great job of waiting to catch the real smile and not the cheese. What to do on a cold and rainy night: bundle up and go outside and PLAY in it!! Then come in and take a nice, long, hot bubble bath!Keely and Macey are anxiously awaiting the much anticipated arrival of their first Suits Baby Cousin. Uncle Burk and Aunt Ashley "Choochoo" are expected their son anyday. So the girls and I have decided to pack up and head to Columbia to finish the wait. We are very excited about family time as always. We are praying for a miraculous healing for Grandma Verhofff (Nan's mom) so we can spend some time with that side as well. And I am looking forward to the extra help. We are only two weeks into basketball season and the days seem to be getting longer and harder without Daddy around. So extra company, hands, distractions, will be nice!
