Winter Blues

Now that the holidays have past, no celebrations are occuring, and the baby is fast approaching, I have gone back to not taking a lot of pictures. Sorry!! My good, old friend Karin did another photo shoot with us though while we were in town for Christmas so you will get to see some of them. There are way too many (and they are all very good) to show!

As far as how the family is, we are doing well. January has hit in full swing. For us southern folks, that means the coldest month of the year with temps that might dip below freezing! Very hard to survive!! And when you have little kids that means coughs, colds, ear infections are pretty much continuous. We made it to church Sunday for the first time in a month. But I have come to accept that if we make it every other week, we are doing well. We should buy stock for saline drops!

We are trying to get Keely and Macey ready for the new baby. We are not sure how much they understand (especially Macey). Keely remembers a little bit from when Macey was born. She is more excited about Macey moving into her room! But she does keep telling Macey that she (Macey) is going to be a "big stister like me." If they love the baby as much as they love each other, that will be one loved baby!The girls and I are heading to the mountains for a couple of days with my mom. Hopefully, we can introduce them to snow. If we do, I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures to share!
