Let the Imagination Roll
I smiled and Keely very excitedly told me they were riding on a boat with their baby dolls. Then both proceeded to make boat noises. Keely even stood up and starting wakeboarding! Just when I thought their little game of house couldn't get any better, they took their babies for yet another experience tonight. After dinner, I was tending to Kres and Doug was cleaning up after dinner. This time I found the girls playing church with their dolls! It was the most precious thing I have ever seen! They prayed, sang songs, took an offering followed by standing and singing the doxology. And finally Keely gave them a children's sermon on how important it is to not pee in your pants. I think she could have a future in ministry. This is them standing and singing the doxology. They had two rows of seats and be the back row Baptist I was raised, Keely and Macey sat in the back row.
This past Sunday we had Kres baptized. All of our parents came down for the occasion as well as my sister. It was a crazy, yet very special day. Here is a great shot of the kids before we left. We got ready early so we could take our pictures before we left. I thought I was on top of things this time.
It's blue, but you can't tell from any of the pictures. Daddy was once again the assisting elder which always adds a little special touch. All three kids did well in front of the crowd. And it really was a special day.
Kres hasn't started eating food yet, but he did sit at the table with us for the first time tonight. We were all excited to all be at the table together. And he stayed pretty entertained for the meal! He really is growing up so fast.

Loved the part about Keely's children's sermon topic. I think maybe Clent should give a kids sermon on not peeing in your pants! Too cute.
