36 Weeks and Counting
Since most of my pregnancy I did a poor job of taking pictures, blogging, journaling, and pretty much doing anything other than just getting through; I have been trying to make it up by making fun outings for the kids and taking pictures to look back on. Things are quickly coming to an end. We have redone the girls' room. We have an infant seat and stroller. I am collecting diapers. And I even found and washed a couple of the special outfits from my kids. We plan on picking up the crib in the next week and then I think we can say we are officially ready and waiting for the baby. Here is what we have been doing in the mean time.
Here we are at the Clemson game. I was determined to make it to one before the baby came. I was only 33 weeks at the time. We had a great time and are hoping to make it to one more after the baby arrives. We already offers to watch the baby during the game.
We don't often go to the beach as a family, but the second Saturday in September we had nothing planned and it was a gorgeous day. We went to the beach and ended up finding friends there. It was great! I hope to go more often with everyone.
My friend, Kellie, had a shower for me. I got much needed diapers and gift cards. One of the games she planned was blind fold diaper change. Kres and Wes saw us play and decided they needed to "practice" as well. This is them holding up there finished products. Kres actually did a great job once I put the baby the right direction. Wes got his on it was just a little loose.
The week the boys and I were at the lake with Yaya, she worked two jigsaw puzzles. Kres and Wes were upset they couldn't help. Yaya found puzzles for them. This was the first of 4 Kres ended up working that week ranging from 100-200 pieces. And he didn't allow much help until the last one which was pretty hard even for Keely and me.
