Pregnancy # 5
I am 34 weeks pregnant with Baby #5. In ways this pregnancy has flown by and in others, it hasn't. It has definitely been very different. My nausea lasted until almost 30 weeks instead of the usual 20 weeks. And the things that continue to make me sick are the smell of coffee and SWEETS. (I really look forward to enjoying these again though probably healthier for me not to.)
Once again, we have not found out what we are having gender wise. Usually, I have a gut feeling one way or the other, but even this has kept me guessing this time. There is no pattern with the heartrate or sickness. My glucose was borderline and I have had low iron. All different than any other experience. So it is with eager anticipation we await the arrival of Blessing #5. I can't wait to see who this little one will turn out to be. I have no doubt he/she will be a bundle of joy in ways I cannot imagine just because of the whole experience so far!
Last spring, Doug wrecked his 2000 Honda Accord on his way to a golf match. Because the damage was almost the amount of the car, the insurance totaled it and gave us a check. We got my old Highlander back from my parents as our second car. The kids love the Highlander as much as I do and remind Doug every time he drives us in it now not to wreck it and to be as good a driver as Mama.
We have starting spending more and more time at Corem Deo. This picture was taken at the end of spring break after being there for a week. Several siblings joined us for the weekend and helped push all the kids for a walk to the summit. It ended with the Uncles tricking Yaya and me by faking a stroller crash.
Fun times at Lawton Stables. We loved seeing the live animals and riding the pretend one.
Macey FINALLY got a Wendy doll for her birthday. Her search for one started in Disney World in February of 2012. She waited almost a year and a half but we were finally able to find one as a surprise for her birthday this year.
Sauve Kids' Bodywash seems to make the most bubbles in Yaya's tub. And what is more fun than a bubble bath after playing in the lake all day. Yaya is sweet enough to let them do it multiple times a week.
